The beaches and islands in Macau offer excellent scope for the same. One of them is the Islands of Coloane. Both the beaches on the island are popular with the swimming enthusiasts who swam the places in the weekends.
The sea on the Checo Van beach, on the southern coast of the islands is a favorite haunt for the swimmers and the sunbathers. The neighboring beach of Hac Sa, with its fine black sands is also quite popular with the tourists. The latter is the larger of the two. Apart from the sea, there are open swimming pools in the area for public use.
