Located at Jalan Duta, the Arkib Negara or National Archives of Malaysia display a wealth of exhibits from different mores of life. They offer the traveler information pertaining to the cultures of the country. The displays of antiques, souvenirs, and mementoes comprise what form the basis of Malaysian society. Each exhibit, that is both historical as well as priceless, has a story of its own to narrate to the curious visitor.
Experience a walk down the memory lane through the nation’s past recapitulating the glory and eminence of the days of yore through the National Archives of Malaysia. Formerly known as the Public Records Office, it was rechristened as the National Archives in 1963. Over 25,000 still images portray the social and economic life of Malaysia. The photographs were accumulated from public bodies as well as private collectors.
