In the Malay language National History Museum is known as “Muzium Sejarah Nasional”. This repository cradles opposite to the Dataran Mardeka. The construction tells the story of its own. This building is over a hundred years old. The tale of National History Museum consists of notes and inscriptions of the archaic period. The treasures of this construction dates back to the 8th and 9th century. The Kohinoor of this place is 8-armed statue of Buddha which belongs to the year of 1936. This bronze statue is an Anglo Oriental creation.

The original building had passed through several man made and natural catastrophes. This construction was re-built incorporating the Moorish and Islamic architecture. A.C. Norman crafted this piece of art. This residence house of the past waits for the tourists to bask in the sun of appreciation and recognition. During the phase of Japanese occupation, this particular human construction was used as telecommunication department.
