Located at Jalan Cenderawasih, the Hibiscus Garden provides travelers with a lush background to relax and enjoy the beauty of creation. Here is one place where you will hardly run out of things to see in the above 500 species of colorful plant life. Admission to the venue is free. There are over 500 species of hibiscus plants to choose from, and some of them have really interesting names. Within the garden there is a building with five wings which correspond to the five petals of the flower. Each wing houses displays of the different species of hibiscus, and also hibiscus-related products and handicrafts. The place is ideally suited to soothe those frayed nerves and enjoy the beauty of creation. Here are over 2200 varieties of rare and exotic blooms ranging from the single petal variety to the multiple petal variety in an assortment of colors and shades. The brightly-lit hibiscus blooms, Malaysia's national flower, are planted along the footpaths and terraces within the complex of this beautiful and sprawling 0.9 ha garden. For those who wish to purchase any of these blooms, there is a bazaar held every weekend. However, many of these unique shapes and colors of bloom last only a day.
