The quickest and comfortable way to get to Langkawi is by air and flights connect all the important cities of the Langkawi and also important cities of the world. The International Airport of Langkawi is located at a distance of approximately 20 kms from Kuah and 8km from Pantai Cenang.

The other option to get to Langkawi is by boat. There are regular ferry services from Langkawi to Kuala Kedah and Kaula Perlis. The journey would take around one hour. While the ferry service to Penang would take two and a half hours. The traveler can also go to Satun in Thailand.
