Tourists looking for fun on their Langkawi head straight to Cenang Beach on
the south western coastline of Langkawi. This popular beach is the longest beach
on the island and probably the most attractive. Known to the natives as Pantai
Cenang, the beach is a long stretch of golden white sands and is virtually a

since it is located at a mere distance of 18 kilometers from Kuah City.
The shoreline of Cenang is especially famous for the extraordinary sunset view
it provides. The two kilometer long coast stretch is fringed swaying with casuarinas

great thrill in wading to the nearby Rebak Kecil Island when the tide is out.
It is important to return while the tide is still low as the mainland often
becomes inaccessible at other times. Underwater World and Laman Padi are other
popular attractions of Cenang Beach.
