There are numerous tourist attractions in Malaysia. The capital city of Kuala Lumpur has plenty to offer in terms of shopping, entertainment and sightseeing. The other popular tourist destinations in the country are Penang, Johor, Selangor, Langkawi among many others. Each state in Malaysia is different from the other in terms of the people, their culture and lifestyle. Visiting each state is a completely new experience. There are innumerable world class hotels, bed and breakfast hotels, and motels located all over Malaysia and accommodation is never a problem.

The people of Malaysia speak Malay (Bahasa Melayu) and this is the official language. English is widely spoken in the country also. You will come across various ethnic groups who speak various languages and dialects. Islam is the official language followed here but other religions are freely practiced here.

The weather in Malaysia remains generally warm throughout the year. Temperatures range from 23 and 32 degree Celsius. The country also witnesses a high amount of rainfall throughout the year. The amount of rainfall usually ranges from 2000mm and 2500mm in a year. The months of November, December and January and April to June are the peak tourist months.
