Initiated in 1951, the Melbourne International Film Festival has been a consistent success. Collect entry pass from forum box office PARTICIPATING IN THE FESTIVAL The festival is open to films from all countries and is eager to promote innovative and creative ideas. The Melbourne International Film Festival or MIFF is now open to online applications through the submission of entry forms. For those participating in the Short Film category must enroll by 30th march 2207 whereas for those participating in Feature Film and Documentary category, the deadline is 20th April 2007. Requirements for participation: 16mm, 35mm, Beta SP. Submissions must have been developed during the 16 months before the festival and must not have previously screened in Victoria, Australia. The Short films must not exceed 30 minutes running time. However, short documentaries can stretch to 60 minutes. Participation charges: $40 must be paid for Short Film entry.
