Agadir Tourism

The Tour Operators and the Private sectors, in the presence of the King of Morocco, signed the Tourism Framework Agreement on 10 January 2001. The Tourism sector of Agadir is developing by leaps and bounds, and the policies have ensured that the Tourist census rise. Morocco welcomes a total of three million of Tourists every year and a major part makes Agadir a stopover for its beautiful beaches.

Agadir now possesses added Hotel Rooms, also the huge investments for development of the state-of-the-art infrastructure by local and private sectors is put to good use. The implementation framework has given enlightening education to all people directly or indirectly related with the Tourism Industry. The common Hoi Polloi is genial by nature, which made the implementation much easier. The roads have become wider and clearer and the port City has new golf Course to boast and Beach Resorts to cater to the growing Tourist Milieu. The Tourist destinations are up for renovation and there is a sea change in transportation infrastructure.

There are new festivals to promote the Tourist inflow, also the Northern part of the city is under development. Full measures are taken to upgrade the urban quality and when you are off board in Agadir, you feel it no different from other modern contemporary cities.
