Agadir is located bang on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, adjacent to the foot of the Atlas Mountains and north of the River Souss. The erstwhile fishing village has changed hands from Portuguese, Saadians, Alaouites, Germans and French, Italian and has undergone a total transformation into a port City of unique flavor.
