Agadir Museum
Morocco - Essaouira - Fez - Marrakech - Agadir
The only museum located in Agadir is the Bert Flint Museum. It is not an independent museum in itself but is a section or a twin of the famed Bert Flint Museum of the Moroccan city, Marrakech. Both these museums house the relics and antiques collected by the celebrated Dutch art historian and professor of art in his travels across the country. The display includes precious gems and ornaments, carpets and rugs, furniture, costumes and attire and Berber craft items originating from the Souss and Saharan regions of Morocco. This repository bears testimony to the professor’s love for the art and craft of the country. Bert Flint had spent over 40 years of his life in this country outing together these astounding treasures. A visit to Agadir is incomplete without visiting this treasury of local art and craft.
