Located at an altitude of 175 meters the coastal site of Souss Masa national park is a major tourist destination for tourists who visit the land.

It is located in Agadir of Morocco that comes within the administrative region of Tiznit. This park is has to its north Agadir while Sidi Ifni lies to its south.
General information
The park was created in the year 1991. It encompasses the surrounding estuaries of the Oued Souss that forms the northern confinements of the park. A portion of Oued Massa is also covered by this park.
The park is a major concern for the management authorities who believe population increase is to hamper the park in a number of ways. This growing concern has made the authorities take several steps. Attractions
The park is renowned for being a home to the about hundred species of birds of various colors and kinds. This park houses a host of diversified habitats that includes the Argania spinosa woodland, cultivable fields, steeps, dunes and cliffs. The park also includes sandy beaches and wetlands. A vast area near Aglou is forms a major portion of the park that is largely used as an occasional feeding area by Geronticus eremita. The park with its picturesque landscape is a nice place to enjoy the beauty of the nature. The vast expanse of the steppes, that is approximately 1 to 2 kilometers of width, is a fest for the eyes. This area marked as grazing area for sheep is located at the foothills of the Anti- Atlas and the sea.
