Horse Riding in Agadir

If you are an intrepid or adventurous person then horse riding would be an ideal way to explore Agadir, the city situated in southwest Morocco. Agadir has three horse-riding schools for beginners and some horse-riding clubs. A full range of services are also available for the experienced riders to meet their riding needs in this region of North Africa.

There is a horse riding center near the beach in Agadir. Just saddle up and start galloping along with your friends and a professional horse riding guide (if you are an amateur). Nature trail on horsebacks is truly enthralling!

While galloping along the sandy roads of Agadir, you will discover many desolate and deserted lands with scanty vegetation. Only small scrubs and Cactus in myriad forms and sizes will capture your attention. However you will find some tracts of verdant land with lush vegetation including the fertile plains of Souss. Thus you continue galloping over the barren and vegetated lands until you come to another Berber village. You will get a glimpse of the Agadir rural life while you ride across these villages. You will find Berber men grazing their sheep on the craggy land while the Berber women busy with their household chores. If you are tired of riding you can rest for sometime or spend the night between some ancient walls of any Berber village.

At dawn, with the scarlet sunrise start your journey and gallop until you reach a lake and take some rest. Again gallop till dusk amid the hills, hearing to the swish of the wind and the chirpings of unknown birds. Gallop and visit the Tachilla, Tiznit and Massa regions and finally you will reach the coast of the Atlantic Ocean…gallop along the coastline until you pant for breath…! Content with this fabulous trail you now return back!
