Theatre is a branch of the performing arts with various features, with stories in acting for the benefit of the audience complete with various mixtures of gestures, speech, puppetry, music and dance to name a few. Though the theatre has the main form of narration in dialogue form, yet many others have evolved like mime, kabuki, Chinese Opera, ballet, opera, and Indian classical dance and more. The main themes for the performances come from Society at large, and artistic thought processes. Theatre is the root from where the urge to capture moving images to make them into a full length movie evolved. They are by and large apolitical in nature or an outburst against the oppressions of the ruling Monarchy or System, or imbibed with spirituality to promote the teachings of a particular religion.

The traditional mode of Artistic expression in countries believing in Islam is not Drama. However, during the Morocco tour of French theatrical group the country thought of developing the art performance in their own tongue and modifying the themes to according to their regions, with the result Casablanca performed French translated Theatre in 1950. The Alliance Franco-Marocaine Theater is a French theater that came up in Agadir with along the Municipal Theater Complex, to entertain the people out there and the inbound Tourists.
