When To Visit Agadir

Agadir in Morocco is a favorite destination with most tourists as the weather here remains quite agreeable throughout the year. Bright sunny days, cool, pleasant nights and low rainfall are the major attractions of Agadir. However, Agadir remains a pleasant 25-26°Cin the heights of summer. Tourists may well remember that winders in Agadir could get very cold. While the average temperature from November to January remains around 15°C, temperatures some year have known to dip as low as about 1°C. Thus the dry summer months are preferred by most tourists and June, July and August are the months that see the major influx of tourists from around the world. The winter season, especially December through March sees a slight precipitation but nothing enough to daunt the tourist. Some holiday makers prefer to visit Agadir especially over their Christmas New Year as the days average a comfortable 14-15°C but the hotels and other tourist facilities offer excellent off season discounts. However those interested in water sports, swimming etc. may well visit in summer rather than these months. Some visitors also plan their viist to coincide with the famed festivals of Agadir. The Fish and Seafood Exhibition is held in November, the Honey Festival in May, the Agadir Festival in December and the Timitar festival in early July.
