Sidi Kaouki Essaouira

The tranquil land of Sidi Kaouki is a small Fisherman's village with only 20 houses at the beginning of the beach. The beach of Sidi Kaouki in Essaouira is one of the best surfing spots in the world. The beach is on the Atlantic Ocean about 25 km south of Essaouira, 160 km from Agadir, and 150 km from Marrakech. Sidi Kaouki in Essaouira enjoys a mild climate round the year.

During winter you will find a perfect beach break (2-5 meters) at Sidi Kaouki in Essaouira. The shore break is somewhat higher than at Essaouira, but the spot also offers splendidly long waves. During summer the wave is smaller (1.5-3 meters) but still very nice to surf. Hence, several windsurfers turn up at Sidi Kaouki during summertime.

The sea front village of Sidi Kaouki is located about 20 km from Essaouira airport. As for accommodation, there is a small Campground at Sidi Kaouki where you can enjoy a comfortable stay.
