Pottery Room in Dar Batha Museum, Fez:
Housing some of the most beautiful Moroccan ceramic objects, the pottery room stands out among all other sections in the museum. Developed solely by Fez craftsmen, these potteries apply the Xth century technique of "Fez Blue". This technique is obtained by using cobalt over white enamel background, thereby creating beautiful floral motifs intertwined together in a harmonious pattern.
Besides this, the museum also displays intricate embroidery, ethnic jewelry, ancient coins, carpets, traditional wood sculptures, sculpted plaster, wrought iron and other decorative materials. All this seen together, gives a peek into the rich ancient past of Fez, making Dar Batha Museum a complete tourist package.
