Bou Inania Medersa Fez

Built over a period of 7 years starting 1350 by Sultan Bou Inan, this functional medersa is one of the 14th century residential colleges of the Kairaoueein University.

Entry
  -  Bou Inania Medersa is one of the few functional religious places open to non-Muslims. However the mosque just by the medersa is open to Muslims only.
  -  Cost of entry per adult is 10 Dirham.
Timings
  -  The medersa is open from 9 am to 7 pm all days of the week.
  -  It is closed on Friday and during prayer time everyday.

  -  Intricate cedarwood carvings in geometrical motifs on the eaves and the upper patio walls
