Marrakech Weather

Marrakech weather epitomizes the sub-Saharan climate with high temperatures and uncomfortable humidity levels. Those who are not comfortable with extreme heat can experience problems while touring Marrakech as it might get pretty tough on their body.

Marrakech weather is usually sunny all year round with relatively warm summers and mild winter days. The nights can be very chilly. The mean temperature varies incredibly. The place is blessed with distinct seasons. The winters are followed by charming springs which is followed by the scorching summer after which the land experiences rainfall making the following autumns bit cooler.

The temperature varies according to the season. The maximum temperatures recorded during the summers are between 34 – 36 °C. The day and the night temperature vary distinctly in Marrakech. The nights cool off quickly in the desert city. During the winters the nights can be very chilly. If someone is putting up near the Atlas Mountains can experience very cold conditions with the mercury dipping down to 6 °C.

The rainy season is marked with spells of heavy rainfall making the conditions very muddy.
