Morocco located absolutely in the North West corner of Africa, is embellished with everything from mountains to deserts, to plush green river valleys and sandy coastlines. In a country with so much of environment variations, climatic differences are invariable.
Thus the Morocco climate alters, confirming to the Morocco geography.

Over all, the climate in Morocco is quite dry and receives very less rain during some month of the year. Marrakech and Agadir are probably the only two places which enjoy a relatively moderate climate. Otherwise fluctuations in Morocco climate by season and area is a common phenomenon

The climatic conditions along the Mediterranean and Atlantic coastlines are fairly moderate. During the summer seasons it is very hot, but cool breezes coming from the water bodies provide a cooling effect. Winter seasons are quite short and are accompanied by occasional downpours.

From the coastal region as you move towards the interior of the country, you’ll gradually experience an extreme Morocco climate. Summers are absolutely hot where as winters are chilling. The Sahara Desert that stretches unto Morocco has a similar kind of weather, with extremely cold winters and scorching summers.

The Atlas Mountain being situated quite high above the sea level experiences very cold climatic conditions. Snowfalls are quite frequent; hence temperature is below zero degree most of the time. The mountaintop remains covered by snow even during the summer season.

Rainfall in Morocco generally occurs during the months of October-November and April-May. The North Western part of Morocco receives most of rainfall, much higher than the other regions. Even the cultivable areas receive very less rain.
The best time for a vacation in Morocco is during early the summer months. During this time the Morocco climate is quite pleasant.
