Morocco Provinces


Morocco - Essaouira - Fez - Marrakech - Agadir
Morocco located in the North Western corner of Africa, is governed by a constitutional Monarchy. It is divided into 16 regions, forming the uppermost administrative division; this has been further divided in 61 second-strata administrative divisions constituting mainly of the Morocco provinces along with the prefectures of Morocco.

Province refers to the area occupied by one of the administrative division of a nation. The provinces of Morocco are as follows:

  • Chaouia-Ouardigha (Settat)
    Province of Ben Slimane
    Province of Khouribga
    Province of Settat

  • Doukkala-Abda (Safi)
    Province of El Jadida
    Province of Safi

  • Fès-Boulemane (Fès)
    1. Province of Boulemane
    Along with the Prefecture of Fès-Dar-Dbibegh, Prefecture of Moulay Yacoub and Prefecture of Sefrou

  • Gharb-Chrarda-Béni Hssen (Kénitra)
    Province of Kénitra
    Province of Sidi Kacem

  • Grand Casablanca (Casablanca)
    Province of Médiouna
    Province of Nouaceur
    Apart from these two Moroccan provinces it has the Prefecture of Ain Chock Hay Hassani, Prefecture of Ain Sebaa-Hay Mohammedi, Prefecture of Ben Msik-Sidi Othmane, Prefecture of Casablanca-Anfa, Prefecture of El Fida-Derb Soltane, Prefecture of Mechouar Casablanca, Prefecture of Sidi Bernoussi-Zenata, Prefecture of Mohammedia

    Apart from these Morocco Provinces it has the Prefecture of Agadir-Ida-Ou Tanane and the Prefecture of Inezgane-Aït Melloul.
