Taroudannt Morocco

Taroudannt, Morocco is surrounded by a seven meters tall wall. Among the places that have been least touched by the French is Taroudannt. The streets of Taroudannt in Morocco are great for a walk. They are comparatively narrow but have the ability to create a charm of their own especially during the rains. Horses form a very convenient mode of transport through these narrow streets. Another famous feature of the city is its seven meters tall walls. They are of a high quality and are unarguably ranked among the best in the country. They protect almost the entire city. A walk along the city walls will be nearly five kilometers long.

The city has famous markets like the Arab market and the Berber market. Close to both the markets is Place Assareg. It is regarded as the centre of Taroudannt. Another attraction is the Kasbah. All these attractions together make Taroudannt one of Morocco’s popular destinations.
