Roads within the park have sufficient parking space. - The park is a major center for picnicking, walking, jogging, cycling, tennis, cricket, rugby and bird watching. - The Campbell Park Tennis Club, Auckland Joggers Club, Cornwall Cricket Club, Grammar Carlton Rugby Football Club, Auckland Archery Club, Cornwall Park Bowls club, Auckland Observatory / Stardome (an observatory and planetarium) are all sited in the park. - School visits are allowed only with prior reservations. - No lunch or accommodation facilities are provided so rainy days should be avoided for visiting the park. - Teacher information packs are available on request. - The park is ideal for outdoor functions. Three main sites can be reserved for gala wedding ceremonies. - The kiosk is located on the northern side of the cone next to the information center. It offers a fine dining experience with café style lunches or afternoon teas of Victorian and Devonshire varieties. The tea is available during gala affairs like wedding ceremonies and other special functions. - The kiosk and the three toilets in the park allow wheelchair access.
