Existing in the heart of Auckland City, for just over a decade now, the Calibre has evolved into one of the city's most rocking night venues for the youth of North Island. These are pushed off by promoters, who are fast gaining standing as the city's most favorite spot. The Calibre is also the haunt of bands and club singers of international status who regularly drop in to the shores of Auckland. Perhaps the most select of the nightclubs in Auckland, this is the place you are guaranteed an entry if you are putting on your choicest look. Many of the famous international faces have been spotted here with foreign DJs spinning grooves on a Friday night. While many may call the décor gloomy, the music rocks as does the clientele. A trip down St. Kevin's Arcade is worth it for a super cool night out. Although the booze might scratch your pocket, it is definitely expertly prepared.
