K Road in Auckland

Karangahape Road which is commonly known as K Road, is one of the most popular shopping destinations of Auckland. It is located close to the central business district of the city of Auckland and runs perpendicular to Queen Street. History says that it was a travel route used by the pre-European Maori which is actually an older thoroughfare than Auckland's main street Queen Street.
