China Yum Char Restaurant & Bar Auckland
New Zealand - Auckland - Christchurch - Queenstown - Wellington
The arrival of the Yum Char was considered a charming way of introducing the residents and visitors alike to Chinese cuisine. The dishes are all fresh and the menu offers all the favorites, including the rather unusual but rather good deep-fried dumplings with feta as also the Peking duck in per person options. This, one must agree, is welcome. The Fujian fried rice is also recommended, being liberally dressed with shredded duck, a brunoise of vegetables and oyster sauce. Above everything, the service is pleasant, if somewhat hesitant. However, you will not mind this as long as you have ensured that you had plenty to order.
The Yum Cha is offered both at lunch and even during the night alongside the a la carte menu. The term Yum Cha is Cantonese for drinking tea. It refers to the custom of having small helpings of different food while sipping Chinese tea. As far as the ambience goes, the food and services of the China Yum Char Restaurant & Bar, Auckland is a lot better than others. Their buns are the most recommended for they are exceptionally beautiful. You can also host your functions at the private function rooms of the China Yum Char Restaurant & Bar, Auckland.
