Christchurch, the sleepy little town in New Zealand, is not truly as serene and laid back a town as it appears to be. The MaltHouse Theatre, Christchurch is also home to the Punch Club, a club for 3- 12 year olds, that helps to introduce children to a world filled with fun, fantasy and imagination through live theatre. Children can avail of membership to this club by paying $5.00 per child per year, which will ensure that the child gets invitations to exclusive parties, competitions, theatre visits, dress rehearsals or special previews of some shows, as well as direct interaction with the actors themselves.
