its foot. Tongariro National Park is regarded as the oldest National Park in the
world and is a popular tourist destination because of the presence of three volcanoes,
viz Mt Ruapehu, Mt Tongariro and Mt Ngauruhoe. The Coromandel Peninsular and the
Kaikoura region, celebrated for their white sandy beaches is sure to attract the
visitors.
