Kahurangi, Motueka is a fascinating place where you also find the Heaphy Track where you can go walking for miles at a stretch. The Kahurangi Park is replete with spectacular caves, wild river gorges, rolling tufts of grasses and lime stoned landscapes, it bears the mark of the biodiversity of New Zealand.
You can find here the residual spotted Kiwi, as well the endangered Blue Duck, carnivorous giant snail and 2400 species of plant. If you want to camp here, there are many huts where you can do so, as the land area is almost 452, 000 hectares.
The Abel Tasman National Park is New Zealand's smallest national park, only 23, 000 hectares housing coastal bays, lagoons and sparkling golden beaches and lime stones grounds. So why wait come along!
