The long 51 kilometers of the Abel Tasman Coast Track of New Zealand offers to its visitors a beautiful walking track that attracts a majority number of visitors. Feel the cool waters of the streams touching your feet as walk through the tracks. Though a number of bridges have been built they are often flooded with tidal water. If you want to enjoy the thrill of the entire walking track at the Abel Tasman Coast, then it would require a time of minimum three to five days. The mild climate of the region coupled with the long sunny mornings makes walking through the tracks an excellent experience fit for all seasons and ages.
Enjoy your stay at the huts and the campsites that are posted all throughout the walking track. However, you need to pay a certain amount as charges to stay here in the huts and the campsites. Getting there
The place can be easily accessed from Motueka or from Totaranui that is 32 kilometers from Takaka. There are regular bus services that depart from Nelson and Motueka. Daily Cruises also operates to the area.
Visitors can walk into the parks from the roadend carparks or they can catch a taxi to the beaches along the track.
Accommodations
The nearest towns of Nelson, Motueka and Takaka have a number of accommodations options where you can stay. The hotels are of all ranges to suit the budget of all the persons.
However if you want to stay in the Abel Tasman Coast Track then do not miss to take a camp pass , a tent and drinking water.
