Queen Charlotte Sound is one of the easternmost sounds of the Marlborough Sounds, the extended maze of sheltered waterways in the north-eastern nook of the South Island of New Zealand. It is a beautiful drowned valley that runs southwest to before merging with the Cook Strait.
