Queenstown lying close to the blue waters of the beautiful S-shaped Lake Wakatipu, is the resort town in Otago in the south-west part of South Island of New Zealand. In close proximity of Frankton, near the Queenstown Airport there is another 9 hole course and a 9 driving range. Visitors are welcome throughout the week. The Arrowtown Golf Club is another scenic golf club that is located in Central Otago, one of the most historical sites of New Zealand. This club is flanked by mountains and has a 18 hole course that offers spectacular vista from every fairway. The setting for playing golf here is truly inspiring. Each hole is unique in its own way and the course sets a challenge to the golf-lovers throughout the world. Interestingly, the gold mining past of Arrowtown is highlighted in the names of the hole like: Sons of Fortune and Golden Arrow, goldbearing Arrow River which border the once rich and et cetera.
