Skyline Restaurant Of Queenstown offers dining with a difference. To reach this hill top restaurant, you will need to take the gondola, a cable car, up to the 400 meters high Bob's Peak. The spectacular view of Queenstown, the Lake Wakatipu and the green meadows enroute are enough to gladden the heart and stimulate the appetite. The best and most picturesque eyeshot however is reserved for the peak itself. The guests at the hotel are in for a visual treat preceding the culinary delights at their disposal at the Skyline Restaurant. Every evening the Skyline Restaurant hosts a magnificent spread including the delectable South Island salmon, seafood dishes, vegetable and fruit salads, roast meats and tantalizing desserts. This is popularly known as the Taste of New Zealand Buffet and is a favorite among the regulars. The Skyline Restaurant specializes in Pacific Rim cuisine. The menu also features a number of beverages to compliment the meal. The novel 3 tiered seating arrangements can accommodate about 330 people. This ensures that every table catches the beautiful glimpses of sunset or the blue stretch of the lake and the sky. Often live bands play at the Skyline Restaurant and offer the guests unbridled entertainment. The ambience of this unique eatery is extremely romantic and candle light dinners are often arranged here for newly weds.
