There can be provisions for 4-8 people at the price of $100 per person. Bookings are required to be made in advance in order to avoid rush. All the horses are trained from beforehand so that the trekkers do not face any untoward dangers or calamities. However there are horse trekking clubs like Kiwi Equestrian Adventures Ltd and Nuiwai Big Water Horse Centre.
