Residents' Satisfaction Surveys conducted by Wellington City Council
Every year the Wellington City Council out sources contracts to an external organization to carry out quarterly surveys on what residents think about:

  -  The state of the city
  -  The Council's services and facilities

Apart from these quarterly surveys, an annual residents' satisfaction survey done is done by the Wellington City Council to measure how well the city is achieving the goals set by the Councillors during the Annual Plan process. The results of the survey are published in the Annual Report.

Several companies and trusts have been established by the Wellington City Council to aid it in achieving its goals for Wellington. The main aim of establishing these organizations was to set up independent bodies to manage Council facilities, and deliver specific services and developments on behalf of Wellington residents.
