Come to Shark Bay, Wellington which suits all levels of sailors. Travelers generally flock at this bay in order to enjoy various tourist activities. Lolling on the golden sands of the bay or going in a voyage, relaxation or action—this place has something for everyone. Situated on the east side of Central Wellington, Shark Bay, Wellington is probably the most frequently sailed spot in the greater Wellington area and probably the windiest. While conditions are smoother on in southerlies, big chop comes through on a strong northerly. Anything else can get a bit gusty. If you are a sailor owning racing gear, this spot is sailable probably most days of the year. You can get there from central Wellington. Just head towards the airport. Take a left towards Miramar and then left again past the old warfes and down the east side of Evans bay. And you reach your destination.
