The restaurant is pretty popular in Wellington and has won the prestigious Wine and Food Challenge Award in the years 2000, 2002 and 2003. Food: The food includes flavored rice, curries, tandoori dishes, naans and kulchas. The curries include lamb vindaloo, ghetu masala, butter chicken, lamb korma, bhuna josh and chicken vindaloo. The chicken tikka, reshmi kebab, sheek kebab and tandoori chicken are part of the tandoori items. The charcoal grilled tandoori chicken and the succulent boneless chicken tikka will make you want to lick your spoons forever! These tandoori items are seared in clay ovens and taste of exotic Indian spices. You can also have vegetarian dishes like vegetable kofta, tarka dal and Bombay aloo that match perfectly with pullau, coconut rice and basmati rice. The long grained basmati rice has a natural flavor and when mixed with the spicy curries, it tastes heavenly. Garlic naans, original naans and onion kulchas will also tantalize your taste buds. Facilities: There are no-smoking zones in the restaurant and low children’s stools are also available. The restaurant is open on all days of the week.
