The construction of the building was done by Shaykh Zubair Bin Ali in the year 1914. Later on in the year 1988 the museum was inaugurated by Shaykh Zubair Bin Ali's son Muhammad Bin Al Zubair. The museum has a rich collection of works of art and artifacts which were used by the particular family generation after generation.
