Muscat , the capital city of Oman , is the main financial and trading center of the country. Since the reign of Sultan Qaboos, the country has made remarkable progress and the capital city presents a good blend of modernism and aesthetic ancient culture tradition and a rich heritage. There are several other international airlines including Lufthansa and the British Airways operating regular flights through the Seeb International Airport. Telecommunication has been developed very rapidly with the help and assistance of the countries that share a very cordial relationship with the Government of Oman. This has helped much in Muscat Communications . The telecom sector comprises of well regulated fixed line phone service and mobile phone service. There is an expansive network of telecommunications owned by both private and public sector. Elaf Telecom Sevrices and Oman Telecommunication Services (Omantel) are two main service providers. Nawras is another customer friendly service provider for mobile communications which brings global expertise and the best technologies. A very well developed Muscat Communications is, therefore, the greatest contribution of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman which has provided it a global access.
