Rock Climbing in Philippines is a relatively young sport, but the last few years have seen this sport achieving tremendous popularity. There are already active climbing sites in Manila and other major cities in Philippines. There are excellent climbing sites only hours from the city of Manila itself and quality equipments are easily available in outdoor shops. There are many areas in Philippines offering promising rock climbing. But, most of these have not been explored yet. Since the sport is so new, only a few major climbing areas have been developed and most of these lie close to the cities. This leaves you with enormous climbing options to explore. There are hundreds of sites and thousands of routes for climbing. Artificial Climbing is a concept which has become more familiar over the years. Many gyms offer indoor facilities where you can have the thrill of rock climbing and at the same time, you don’t have to traverse miles away from your city environ.
