Surfing in Philippines
Philippines - Cebu - Boracay - Baguio - Manila
Although not known for the world's most consistent surf, Philippines nevertheless is one of the world’s friendliest surfs. You will find the locals sharing their experiences with you if you show the interest in the right manner. The official surf season is from August until late February. The south region offers surfing facility all year around.
You can bring along a pair of board shorts and a thin rash guard to protect you from the sun. The surf is inconsistent, so check the waves on the net and travel to better destinations where the swell hits better. During surf seasons, the swell ranges from friendly to overhead waves for both the beginner and the expert.
