Surfing in Philippines

Philippines - Cebu - Boracay - Baguio - Manila
Surfing in Philippines can be your next thrilling option this summer if you are settled for some high-on-adrenaline rush. With over 7000 islands, Philippines is home to thousands of surf spots. Thanks to the fact that most of the country still remains more or less untouched. Surfing in Philippines may sound a bit unconventional since you are more used to hearing about Surfing in Hawaii or Australia, but, we guarantee that Philippines is going to be a never-before experience for you.

Although not known for the world's most consistent surf, Philippines nevertheless is one of the world’s friendliest surfs. You will find the locals sharing their experiences with you if you show the interest in the right manner. The official surf season is from August until late February. The south region offers surfing facility all year around.

You can bring along a pair of board shorts and a thin rash guard to protect you from the sun. The surf is inconsistent, so check the waves on the net and travel to better destinations where the swell hits better.
