The Bell Church is located at the north of Baguio along the road leading to the capital town of La Trinidad, Banquet. The structure will remind you of the beautiful Taoist Temple of Cebu. Red is the most dominant color here. Once you enter the Bell Church, you will get to see the typical oriental architecture. Within its compound are beautifully designed arches and buildings adorned with flags, bells and dragons. It has a pagoda and landscaped gardens. There are also some Buddhism artifacts to be found in the Bell Church. You can even know the history of China through some literature which is kept here.

There is a large arch at the entrance of the Bell Church with two dragons facing each other. There is also a lotus pond, and a fish pond. It is believed that your wish will come true if you say that in these ponds. Professional Taoist priest sit here to tell your fortune in lieu of a small fee. If you want you can try out for some luck here. Aside from the main temple, there are pagodas located on top of the hill. However this section remains open only during weekends and holidays.

The main temple is so peaceful and serene that you can spend your time sitting all by yourself or simply meditating. On the main altar, stands several gods of the Taoist faith. However, inside the temple, picture taking is prohibited.

During the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year, local and foreign Chinese tourists’ flock to the Bell Church. The 15th day of the New Year is called the Lantern Festival which is celebrated at night with lantern displays and children carrying lanterns in a parade. This is a great event and hundreds of visitors visit the Bell Church to catch a glimpse of this festival.
