Manoc-Manoc Beach is on the southern side of Boracay, in Barangay Village. The beach is known to be windy throughout the year and it is not unusual to see a long line of boats waiting to unload provisions for the resorts and other shops in the area.
Manoc-Manoc Beach in Boracay is a wonderful place for swimming, besides
offering a beautiful view of Caticlan, with somber blue mountains looming in
the background. The picturesque views afforded by the beach necessitate carrying
of camera.
Manoc-Manoc Beach, quite alike the rest of the beaches in Boracay, is a white-sand beach. A bare foot walk along the soft sand with the cool breeze murmuring about distant lands is enough to justify your presence in the Manoc-Manoc beach. Also present in the beach are number of resorts which are very popular with the visitors. The most popular among the resorts is Boracay Beach and Yacht Club. Other than providing individual cottages to visitors, the resort also has an exclusive restaurant which serves local as well as international cuisine. The restaurant also has a bar lounge with TV Karaoke. The Yacht Club also provides facilities for activities like beach volleyball, basketball, table tennis, wind surfing, frisbee and fishing. Apart from being a wonderful beach, Manoc-Manoc beach is also proximate to the local village, which is known to be one of the first settlements in the Island.
Manoc-Manoc can be reached by cycling till the termination of Boracay Main
