INTRODUCTION:
Boracay offers its tourists a combination of sun, sand and sea and the hospitality of its serene surrounding and culture that makes this the most visited island of Philippines. A large number of sports and games make Boracay a lovable sea resort. The island with about 10 beaches is filled with various sports and games. It presents its tourists with a mixture of outdoor sports accompanied by some heart throbbing activities that is a virtual delight and a source of great entertainment for the tourists.

Beach Volleyball, Golf, Tennis, Horse riding is some outdoor games played on the terrestrial surface of Boracay. Among the marine sports, diving, swimming, scuba diving, sailing, wind surfing gives immense pleasure to the water lovers. Hikers also get an opportunity to hike the 100m high Mount Luho. Mountain biking has also gained tremendous popularity in Boracay.

Calypso Diving School (PADI), Victory divers and Aquarius Diving are some important outlets that offer programs on diving and also the PADI diver certification. Tommy's sea sports rents out jet skis, water skis, speedboats and banana boats. Wind surfing is the most popular sporting event in Philippines. Boracay is considered one of the prime venues and Asia's best wind surfing destination. Boracay International Funboard club is held every year in the month of January or February.

Lorenzo Main Tennis Court and Tirol and Tirol Tennis court offers lovely tennis court for the tennis lovers. Fairways and Blue Water has a lovely golf course for the golfers to try some golfing. Then there is the Boracay Horse Riding Stables that lends Horse Riding facilities and Training to riders.

Boracay is chose to be the venue for the Asian Beach Sports in the year 2014.
