Fiesta sa Carcar Festival Cebu

The month of November is known to host few of the important and culturally enriching religious fests in Cebu. Fiesta sa Carcar Festival is one such occasion which unites the whole Cebuano population in one platform and brings about a feeling of harmony and love among the residents of the city who look at this jubilation as a major reunifying factor which unites all and people invite their relatives at their places for joint celebrations of this occasion. This fete is celebrated on the 24th and 25th of November in showing respect to St. Catherine of Alexandria who was also the patron of the Carcar town. This town is mostly known for its old Spanish stylized houses and the somber countryside locations.

The natives mostly tend to invite their friends and relatives during the fiestas and they all share the best local delicacies to enjoy their togetherness and brotherhood. Though it's mostly celebrated as a homely occasion but despite that it spreads a very lively and enjoyable color to the jubilations in the month of November. Tourists mostly don't get enough incentive to enjoy this fest as it's mostly a homely fest and is celebrated on a personal level among friends and relatives and neighbors etc. but despite that tourists can celebrate this fest provided they know the locals in Cebu. It's a good opportunity to know about the culture and brotherhood among the Cebuano populace as far as the tourists are concerned. During this festival they can also go for a round of the Carcar City and have a great idea about the city's layout and the way it is decorated during the fest.
