Cultural Center of the Philippines worked in the respective field according to its logo of Katotohanan (truth), Kagandahan (beauty) and Kabutihan (goodness). Attached to the Office of President CCP is at presently under the guidance of National Commission of Culture and Arts.
The main motive of CCP is to showcase artistic achievements of Filipino artists, encouraging them to create original works influenced by Filipino customs and traditions and helping in accessibility of arts in all sectors of Philippine society. In regard of fulfilling its motive Cultural Center of the Philippines at Manila organize several events and programs that display various art works or promote them.
The permanent collection of CCP has so far over thousands of artwork pieces
from 1940s to 1990s. The most notable among them are the works of Victorio Edades,
Cesar Legaspi, Vicente Manansala, H.R.Ocampo, Fernando Zobel and many others.
