San Agustin Church in Manila is one of the oldest surviving churches in Manila.
The church was constructed in 1587- 1604 and also has the distinction of not being
destroyed when Intramuros was destroyed. The San Agustin Church is also the first
of the European stone churches that was built in Philippines. The present edifice
is third and this has survived earthquakes and wars.

The church is also reputed to possess the last remains of the Spanish governors
who remain buried under the church. The architectural style of the church is

intricately carved door and a 18th century pipe organ. Inside the church one

is run by the Augustinian order. This museum highlights antique furniture, paintings
and other vestments.
