Quiapo Fiesta in Philippines also known as the Black Nazarene is initiated at the Quiapo Church in Quiapo, Manila from where it is taken up in the entire country. A life statue of the Nazarene from the 17th Century was made of blackwood in Mexico and then transported to the Philippines in a Spanish Galleon.
