Located 32 kilometers west of Davao City, Mount Apo in Philippines is popular as the highest mountain in the country that rises to 9,690 feet. The honor of conquering of the mountain peak goes to a group of mountaineers led by Don Joaquin Rajal, who climbed on to the peak on October 10, 1880.
