  -   Hajj Terminal: Open only during the Hajj season, this is for the convenience of the millions and millions of pilgrims who throng the city on their way to the holy cities. The terminal also boasts of a mosque which has a capacity of 80,000.

  -   Royal Terminal: The latest addition to the International Airport in Jeddah, this is an exclusive facility for the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia and the visiting Heads of States from across the country. The terminal also includes a parade ground that can host a ceremonies and international functions.

The Jeddah International Airport is considered as the fourth largest Airport in the world. It is spread over an area of 100 acres.

The International Airport in Jeddah has been under expansion since 2000 and is scheduled to be completed by 2010. The current expansion project of the Jeddah International Airport includes the construction of two new terminals and plans for an extension of the southern terminal. The airport authorities also want to upgrade the air and land infrastructure.

Today, the International Airport of Jeddah serves a total of 10 million passengers every year but with the extension plans the Airport capacity will be extended to around 15 millions.
